![]() You have to assign your own attributes, like you’re rolling a character in a role-playing game, but arbitrarily scoring yourself on a 10-point scale for things like motivation and man management seems to make no sense. ![]() Choosing to be a tracksuit manager, who stalks the training ground along with players, or a tactical manager may sound a reasonable idea but in practice it just comes across as a bit weird. If there’s a theme to this year’s changes it’s the idea of greater customisation, from the revamped user interface to the personality and style of your manager. It was a bold move, but unfortunately not one matched by this year’s game. And last year developer Sports Interactive shook things up again, by removing the slider controls and switches used to control a match, in favour of more straightforward binary decisions.
